Oscillate Wildly is something different, Mr Wong is like a friend, Ruby’s Diner beats the Winter Blues and Porteno is to settle in and enjoy! @Lorril

Black star pastry! One of my favourite places to go and get pies. @alexjdesmond

Oh man hard choice. But I’d have to say Papi Chulo. Gotta love that BBQ meat platter. Ignore the serving size. Serves three serves me! Oh and get dessert too :)

  4. Hannah

Daisy’s tips my milkshake! It gets all the inner west lovin’ and some :)

  5. Lauren

Black star Roseberry, the best coffee, the flakiest pastry and the best watermelon and pistachio cake !

They say it’s hard to find good service… But at The Buffalo Dinning Club on a busy night of service, they accommodated my friends and I (including my moon boot) and provided the best service and pillows of heaven with their gnocchi. #TOFOODAWARDS

Cafe Paci! Sydney needed a bit of Scandinavia influence in the food scene. Love the tasting menu here and so glad the “pop-up restaurant” was extended :-)

  8. Christina

Ester is bloody marvellous! The fit out, the menu & the staff all fit perfectly….. A triage that is very rarely met to 100% for each. If thats not enough then just suck on their bone marrow dish!!! @primal102

Chur burger is best bang for buck! Chur is a funky fresh with 90’s music. The chicken burgers are so juicy and succulent. Their sweet potato fries are crunchy and filling. Perfect for a casual dining experience that won’t break your piggy bank!

I can’t go past Black Star without grabbing a short black…but then who can? And stop posting all those photos of their fabo cakes… I’m on a diet!

  11. Robert

Hot Star! Simple and delicious. You can’t go wrong with fried chicken!! They need more locations.

  12. Jenny

Hot Star fried chicken ! My first time trying it and it definitely exceeded my expectations with their juicy original chicken that was bigger than my head~ along with sprinkled chilli powder definitely made an addictive eat. A great quick bite of comfort food~

I loved the food at Porteño, I think it’s very representative of Argentinian cuisine. Also loved Hartsyard, not only the food but also the concept and the way they do things seems very honest to me. @gabymorag

Papi Chulo! Its such a great place for long conversations, great views and an amazing lunch. On my recent experience there, the staff were so nice and the food was simply amazing. (Also, don’t forget the great cakes they offer for birthdays too *A*). A place that is for for all occasions

  15. Judy

Quay…excellent, excellent food and an amazing view! My boy threw me a birthday celebration there and surprisingly, we were rewarded with the lighting of the sails too, even though it wasn’t vivid sydney! You can only imagine my excitement and joy! Every dish was up to par and there wasn’t a single dish we were disappointed in. Not only that, the service was top notch! @judylyh

Pleased that Black Star Pastry has opened a larger venue at Rosebery. Been a huge fan of their lemon myrtle cake for ages & now with the opportunity to sit, I am appreciating their strong hot cappuccinos, delicious morish cinnamon swirls & granola. For a pastry queen like me, I cannot go past Black Star Pastry for my pastry fix.

Gyradiko – the best carb on carb action you will ever experience.

Chur Burger’s gotta be King for me. I’m not fancy enough to have visited most of the venues, but a tasty burger at a reasonable price will win every time, for me @trash_addict
