Yummy Cuisine is not the kind of Chinese Malaysian that you’d chance upon – its that hole in the wall; heard it through someone kind of a joint. So Simon from SimonFoodFavourites was that guy. We did not even realise there was food to be had here, that wasn’t clown food here. But hey, this is worth checking out if you’re going to be eating generi fare in the MLC foodcourt. It really is just tucked down the stairs 2 minutes away. We’ve had uneven chinese in the city at various locales and here, food came hot, well cooked and was consistently good.

Different day, same dish. Its good.

Beef pickle soup. Funkier than most with a challenging piquant flavour but still good.

Char Keow Tway. Its a good rendition of it – not quite enough of the wok hei (breathe of the wok) smokiness everyone talks about but quite good.

[Freebie] Pick mix out of their Bain Marie – every here was good.

There’s a couple of cheap eats in the city for malaysian/chinese everyone should hit. MalayChinese with their best-of Laksa is one. Yummys is another. $10 bucks eats in the city centre.

Great to enjoy this with you Bob and agree it’s a great place and easy to miss given it’s size and location. Looks like plenty of other dishes to try so we should plan to revisit soon.
