The Ternary Novotel Turns One[Event] The ternary is a bit of a special restaurant located inside the Pyrmont Novotel and we’re in attendance as it celebrates its first birthday and the Novotel celebrates 25 years. Entering the grand dining hall with high ceilings, we quickly note the prescenes of 3 seperate dining zones here: an Australian grill with round table dining, there’s a seafood area with oysters on display, and the restaurant also has an Asian dining menu that encompasses japanese, chinese and indian eats. Also here, a Charcuterie winebar. One venue, 3 different ways to dine in and all with a pretty great view out onto Darling Harbour. The Ternary is incidentally Top 4 in Australia across 4000+ hotel restaurants.
As the cuisines from the Ternary kitchen is widely diverse, guests were served food across the restaurants from charcuterie, indian styled betel entree, raw seafood: ceviches and oysters, prawn cutlets, steamed dumplings, mini pies and more. Its all made here and its a dazzling array of eats. Our good friends at the AUreview has broken down a meal here and you can read about it here.
There’s a large table center showcase with a sea of cupcakes spelling out 25. The longevity and success of the restaurant – top 4 is a real achievement and one that the team here should be proud of. We had small bites and eats but across the board, they were tasty and delicious. Executive chef, Anthony Flowers who oversees the kitchen here has plenty to be proud of. Tasty eats, friendly staff and a nice chill atmosphere when its not packed with guests here to celebrate the venue’s milestones (We’ve previously dined here).
