Tella Balls Dessert Bar Dulwich Hill
Tella Balls Dessert Bar transplants that viral tella balls shake from FCE and relocates and amplifies the viral dessert joint as they transition from Erskineville to Dulwich Hill. Housed under another spankingly new apartment complex, TBDB is the kind of venue you get to for #Instalikes and #Freamz. From their famous Tell Ball Donuts, to gelato-dough sticks to donut cone softserves (They’ve even managed to beat Zumbo by being the first to bring these to Sydney; Zumbo’s already selling them in Melbourne though). So if you’ve got a sweet tooth – TBDB kicks off every morning from 11am and dishes up their sinfully decadent treats from morning til Food Coma. Nutella fan? Love your Donuts? Love sugar? This is your Dessert heaven.
- Tella Ball as ordered comes with a scoop of vanilla icecream
- A variant – Tella Ball Slider. Sliced in half and filled with ice cream cream, drizzled with nutella and chocolate flakes
- Tella Ball Donut sitting atop fluffy pankcakes with vanilla icecream, chocolate flakes and more nutella
There’s a fourth on their tellaball shake (pic below)
Nothing prepared us for the ginormous waffle burger as it landed on our table. Its $20, its not a mini waffle as we expected but a head sized glistening waffle, nutella, icecream, banana and strawberry dessert burger. It’s huge. You can easily share this between 4 making it an affordable $5/head. One of the best value eats here.
Tella Balls Dessert Bar are the first to bring these to Sydney and the team from TBDB have a knack for making things go viral and these are #instahits. Priced well, tasty, we’d happily order these again.
Drips Galore. We spotted these on their inside table and you can order one of their signature Tella Balls cakes – yes, there’s tella balls donuts, ferrero rocher on this. Available in a couple of sizes too. Go large we say.
Cheat Dayers, Nutella fans rejoice. Tella Balls Dessert Bar has plenty of treats here. Everything in moderation and multiple trips back in.
