Rosie Campbell’s from the team behind the Soda Factory is located at on the corner of Crown and Campbell St and will open its doors this winter. Expect a Jamaican hangout with an American edge with Sweet spice and all things nice, Rosie Campell will an Jamaican inspired jerk diner and rum bar.
“When I first visited Jamaica a few years ago, I was immediately blown away by the friendly, genuine nature of the culture, the big flavours in the food and the vibrancy of colours in every aspect of the island’s art and design. Rosie Campbell’s will bring all of these elements to life in the heart of Surry Hills, creating a unique and personal experience, just as Jamaica’s become my home away from home. We’ll be delivering this with a distinct East Coast flavour that gels nicely with Rosie’s big sister, The Soda Factory” Graham Cordery, Director of The Experience Group.
Licensed to trade from 11am, Rosie Campbell’s food, alcohol and coffee menus will borrow from the Caribbean. The menu will deliver the regions’ staples such as Jamaican Patties, Saltfish Fritters and unique twists on much loved classics alongside their Signature Jerk Chicken. Healthy brunch/lunch and dinner options will grace both menus offered daily for take-away as well as dine in.
Rosie’s will stock a large selection of bottled rums to compliment their signature Caribbean inspired cocktail menu. Mexican tequilas and mescals will take prime shelf space and there will be Caribbean region local brew and hip New York staples.
Unlike most Sydney spots and even hotels, Rosie’s will encourage patrons to stay and hangout with the provision for free wifi.
