The ProQ smoker is what is classed as a Bullet Smoker – You can kind of see how it gets its name and its a bit of a 3-in-1. With the ability to, Smoke, BBQ, grill, roast. At the product showcase, we were treated to the BBQ and shown how it can do a variety of meats. Using Vic Meats from the newly open Vic Meats Market at the Sydney Fish Market, the PROQ turned out some rather amazingly good BBQ.

Dish Showcase: Ribs.  This was a 3 hour smoked Pork Ribs РCoated in a sweet glaze, they were starting to just fall apart but given the time allowance for the showcase, we can see these being lot more delicious with a 5-6 hour cooktime. As is, the Ribs were smokey, flavoursome and rather delicious. You will note from the first pic that the smoker is double stacked so the ability to cook large volumes of ribs is present.

Dish 2: Showcase was lamb Rump. These were nothing short of incredible. Delicious, pink. The PROQ did an excellent job here and the meat was incredibly tender and just “one more piecey”.

Dish 3: Vic Meats Wagyu on the ProQ. Going from start to finish, you can see the fat in the wagyu has been amalgamated in the final dish. Very tender and like the lamb dish, this was delicious. We ate the wagyu and kinda went “wow, what’s on this?”. It had only Salt and Pepper. A combination of amazing meat and the proQ.

The PRO Q smoker we gotta say really impressed. The taste of the meats out of the BBQ really was quite fantastic. The tallish and long design also means its not going to take up too much space in your backyard/balcony. We’re actually gunning for one in the backyard now. Find out more in the Links below. RRP Is $399 for the frontier.
