After a 5 week hiatus, Opera Bar is back. We attend the Relaunch and scouted out the new digs. The new Opera Bar as envisoned by Matt Moran and the Solotel hospitality group features a charcuterie room, raw bar, a reworked long bar and nice warm interiors. New venue sits 700 and the solotel group will be running the venue for the next 10 years.
With amazing views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Opera Bar is one of the best places in Sydney to grab a drink. Matt Moran and CEO of the Sydney Opera House, Louise Herron do the honours and opens the new Opera Bar. Megan Washington serenades the crowd right after.
A look at their new menu. Actually all affordably priced considering where it is and the quality of the eats. We had variants of the food at the launch (Canapes sized) and its a good menu with family sized shared options available. Popcorn Gaytime delivers. The Charcuterie meats for the menu is sourced from Victor Churchill.
