Um, memory fail but I think its called the BIG MOO. $16.50.  Basically a gigantic sized Aussie burger with a side of chips $4.

The Big Moo is a gigantic hamburger and when I say gigantic. I mean gigantic. The $20.50 for the meal seems like a bit of money but this is definitely a big feed and I struggled to finish. The burger has a perfectly cooked sunny side up, slices of beet , pineapple, bacon, beef patty and according to the menu, warm sourdough bread. The chips are super crunchy and seasoned well – compared to Pie Tin’s anaemic and blah chips, these were superb and great to eat. Ate it all and didn’t even have to use the Heinz tomato ketchup.
They put a huge selection of table water on the side for you to grab. Huge +++ in my books.

beautiful mural on the wall, nice cover on the couch. This burger joint felt homey and nice to visit.

This was the 3rd time I’ve been to moo burgers, twice I did takeaways for dendy/camperdown memorial park and I quite like Moo Gourmet Burgers. Its a good feed – The menu is extensive – I really need to try the wagyu + Duck burgers.

  1. Awesome burgers, awesome chips. Definitely a big feed at Moo. Yep, the price is a bit more than I was expecting to pay for a burger. But happy to pay a bit extra for free-range ingredients.

You took one of these burgers to Dendy? That’s brave.

  2. Hey detective chow, yeah it’s a bit pricey but you do get what is essentially like a double serve of food. I recommend checkin out milkbar by cafe Ism if u haven’t already. Smaller burgers, bit cheaper and also sustainable meat. You can. Basically create ur burger at milk bar.

  3. I recently ate at Moo (Crows Nest branch) and got a good deal on drinks and burgers, which made it all quite affordable! I had the Wagyu burger which was really nice and tender. I’ve had the Greek Lamb before as well, which was amazing.

Next time you’re there, I definitely recommend the cheesy bacon fries…they’re a winner!
