Hugos Manly located on the western edge of Manly Wharf has extended the functionality and scope of the existing premise outwards to include a deck area with large shade umbrellas and outdoor seating. We travel north from Sydney to check out their new venue and take in the sights along the way. And it all starts with veuve Clicquot Champers.

Part of the three from the sea from our dinner tonight – Hiramasa kingfish carpaccio with avocado, radish, black caviar and spicy citrus dressing
Yamba King Prawn grilled with chilli and fresh lemon
Pan Fried Ocean Trout with pea Puree, Shaved Aspargus, radish, Eschallots and salmon Roe.
Hugos is famous for their pizzas and we had both the Fresh Figs, Crispy Pancetta, Gorgonzola, tomato and Basil as well as their pork belly, radicchio and muffalo milk Mozarella Pizza – both of which were delicious but the seasonality of the Fig made that a highlight.
With vista across Manly Cove and too cool waterside seating, the new Manly Deck is an appealing waterside dining experience. You’ll get a view of the sunset and that very classic Manly beachside pine tree vista.
