Calabria Wines Iconic Grand Reserve Shiraz 2012

Australian Vinters Calabria Famile Wines has released is latest premium red wine; The Iconic Grand Reserve Barossa Valley Shiraz 2012. The Iconic is the most expensive wine produced by the Calabria Family and the fruit by which this wine is produced is handpicked and comes from centenarian vines.

In 2010, Calabria expanded into the Barossa Valley with the purchase of vineyards in Nurioopta. Putting care, attention and love into the 100 year old vines (and a 2 year period) allowed them to develop the beautiful Iconic Grand Reserve Shiraz. The grapes are hand picked and sorted, fermented for 7 days in open vats before maturing in french oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is then bottle matured for another year.
