So its 2013, and the truffle weekend is on now (03-04 august) so if you fancy this… better rush in to BSP. This year there’s only 2 items on the menu – one savoury, one sweet.  There’s a truffled eclair and a truffled croque monsieur. The latter was also featured in last years Truffle Weekend. albeit somewhat different with no greens in it.

2013’s truffled eclair. Nice scent of truffles with a nice filling laced with truffles and pleasant with the aromas of truffles. Quite delicious and surprisingly crunchy. Really good. I’m back tomorrow for more. :)

The Truffle Croque Monsieur

This came toasted and the portion is quite big and you can easily share this with another. Toasted, crunchy with soft cheese and truffle slices in in. Very morish.

Truffle Weekend 2013. Check it out. According to Foodscene (also a newtown based blogger) these goodies were ready around 10am today. So you have til 5 today and all day tomorrow.

I do wish they had the Truffle Croquembuche and Truffle Jar (but I guess the eclair is this years sub for the Croquembuche) . I loved them last year.

Still, quite full and satiated. Excellent as usual.
