Sushizilla’s a joint that’s a bit famous for their $2 sushi plates – we wandered in one arvo and looking round the foodhall level; we ended up eating here as they’re currently running a 20% off the foodbill promo (not sure if this stacks with their $2 sushi but how crazy is the price if it did). As is, we had some rather delicious japanese eats on the cheap.

There’s a sushi train here (on the right of the pic) – its not in operation when they’re not busy – we order off their ala carte menu.

Sushizilla’s one of them touch screen ordering joints.  Price guide is kind of neat – fancy a nice japanese roll at $6.80 – this is your joint. The short of it: you tap, they deliver, you chow down. Its all highly efficient. (Its $5.45 during the discount pricing period)

A chippendale roll and a spicy tuna roll. Both worked out to be about $5.45 (which is a crazy price for this). Yes!

A salmon salad. We’re clean eating so this was sort of a decent enough option. It’s good.

Aburi Salmon – Also $5.45 serve which is also crazy with the price promo.

The ordering system also easily lets you check you order.

We visited during the 20% price off the “FOOD” tab which runs Jan and Feb and its kind of amazing. At these prices; there’s really no reason not to give Sushizilla a go. Its great, fresh and affordable. Go eat. There was 2 of us at lunch and it came to $40 which is just crazy good *note; drinks and misosoup aren’t discounted. Only food.

Sushizilla is always such a great spot for excellent sushi at an amazing price. I’ve been when they’ve had their $2 plate deal and was stuffed for $12!! The Aburi Salmon you ordered looked absolutely delicious :)
