Ippudo, the successful chain of Ramen eateries that span from Japan, Singapore, NYC and has a flagship store in Westfields Sydney has now officially launched their second in Australia at Central Park. At the media launch, they signified the start with the smashing of a sake barrel. So, what can you expect? Ramen, sushi, bites and a more casual space and that same lively atmosphere present at Ippudo Westfields with the constant japanese greetings. UTS students rejoice!

The dining space is brightly lit and the colours, red/black/pine jump out at you.

Long table and booths behind.

Great salad, didn’t skimp on the flavour. Punchy bright and yummy.

Chashu (pork) and minced beef in a croquette made for some delicious eats.

This is the beer they had – its 500ml so good for sharing and very easy to drink and nice. Quite enjoyed this

Ippduo’s Salmon is a large piece of salmon/rice with dollops of mayo and prawn roe on it. Its good.

Japanese Cucumber sticks were clean fresh and delicious.

The Red Tonkotsu Ramen with a flavour bomb (had spice and roasted garlic in it). Quite a nice one this.

The white tonkotsu dish. This is more traditional. Nice slices of pork/chashu in it too.

If you’re hungry for Ramen in the chippendale/Broadway area. Ippudo Central Park is now open on the ground level – enter and head down the escalator. The store is located on the opposite side of george street.
